Survey Data Analysis post session
Tuesday 25 November 2014

Survey Data Analysis is a graduate course offered by ADSRI which aims to equip participants with the necessary skills to analyse large survey data sets to answer research and policy questions. Part of the assessment for the course is a poster assignment with posters being displayed at a poster session where ADSRI staff and students discuss the research and posters with students.

Students have made the following comments about the course and the process of preparing and presenting the poster:

'The poster was a good learning experience.'

'I enjoyed the unit.'

'I would highly recommend the unit.'

'Presenting all the information in a poster is a challenge. Lots of figures rather than lots of text are needed in a poster to present results of research.'

'The course has been useful in improving my ability to analyse data from surveys.'

'It was interesting learning about how academics approach research and produce posters and papers.'

'The poster was a fun and challenging project.'
